Syntax

Linux:

-floop-blocking

-fno-loop-blocking

Windows:

/Qloop-blocking

/Qloop-blocking-

Arguments

Default

-floop-blocking
or /Qloop-blocking

Loop blocking is performed during loop transformation at optimization levels of O2 and above.

Description

This option enables or disables the loop blocking optimization done by the compiler as part of loop transformations. Loop blocking partitions a loop's iteration space into smaller blocks to improve cache locality and reuse of data. This option takes effect only if you specify an optimization level of O2 or higher.
