2.2. Hardware and Software Requirements

Altera uses the following software to test the design example:

Software

  • Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software
  • Either one of the following simulators for functional simulation:
    • ModelSim* SE
    • QuestaSim* FE Intel FPGA Edition
    • VCS* MX
    • Xcelium*
Note: Hardware support is currently not available in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3.
