2. GTS SDI II IP Core Overview
The GTS SDI II IP core implements a transmitter or receiver at high definition (HD), or 3 gigabits per second (3G) to 12G rate as defined by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).
The GTS SDI II IP core supports triple rates (SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI) and multi rates (SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI). These modes provide automatic receiver rate detection and transceiver dynamic reconfiguration2.
The SDI II IP core supports 28 nm devices and beyond.
