4.5.3.2. Multicast Frame Filtering

When multicast frame filtering is enabled, the MAC drops all multicast frames except for global multicast Pause or control frame. The multicast statistic vector and counter are unchanged.

When multicast frame filtering is disabled, the MAC accepts all multicast frames.
