6.12.5.3. Runtime Configurable Routing

The following implementation types are possible for a multihop based system:

  • For cases where number of transmitter interfaces is less than four and the number of receiver interfaces is less than four:
    • Interconnect uses only basic 4x4 crossbar unit for implementation.
    • In all other cases, interconnect uses full 16x16 multi-hop crossbar.
