6.12.5.3.3. Fixed Routing (Point-to-Point)

Fixed Routing (Point-to-Point) connectivity is for use only if there are one-to-one connections between transmitter interfaces and receiver interfaces. In this case, there’s no need to construct a crossbar. Instead, interconnect has several direct point-to-point connections.

You specify connectivity details via the Connectivity Matrix tab in IP parameter editor. An error displays if you connect more than one transmitter interface to a single receiver interface, or more than one receiver interface to a single transmitter interface. You are notified that only 1:1 or point-to-point routing is allowed in the chosen connectivity type.

The following is an example user entry:

  1. Choose Fixed Routing.
  2. Choose number of transmitter interfaces and receiver interfaces.
  3. In the he Connectivity Matrix tab, choose connectivity between transmitter interfaces and receiver interfaces.
Note: There is no TDEST port in Fixed Routing.
