Windows 11* Family, Windows® 10 family

Description

I'm trying to update my Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite through IDSA but I keep getting a "No Compatible Hardware Detected" warning and the installation won't go through.

Resolution

  1. Open Device Manager and expand the Network Adapters section to identify the exact Wireless Adapter or Ethernet Controller model installed in your system.
  2. Check whether the word "Killer" appears in the name of your network adapter or controller.
  3. If there is no "Killer" name listed in your network adapter or controller, Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite is not supported on your system. It is recommended to hide the update in Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (IDSA) to avoid installation errors.
  4. If the word "Killer" is listed in your network adapter or controller, attempt to install the OEM version of the driver first.
  5. If the issue persists after installing the OEM version, perform a clean installation by following the steps in the How to Perform a Clean Installation to Solve Most Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite Issues article and download and install the latest generic version of Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite from the Intel Killer Performance Suite Download Page.

Additional information

The "Warning: No Compatible Hardware Detected" error when installing Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite may be caused by one of the following:

  • Your wireless device is not supported by Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite. The suite only supports certain models of Intel® Killer™ Wireless and Intel® Killer™ Ethernet products. See the Download Intel® Killer™ Software and Drivers page for more details.
  • Your wireless device is disabled or not connected to your system.
  • Your wireless device has outdated or corrupted drivers or firmware.

Note: Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (IDSA) detects generic drivers and applications only. It is recommended to use your OEM's automatic update tool to check for compatible supported drivers and applications for your system.
