Intel® Arc™ Control Doesn't Launch

After installing the latest Intel drivers which include the Arc Control program, the program will not launch. When attempting to launch Arc Control, the program does not open and the computer becomes unresponsive.

• Uninstall Intel® Arc™ Control following the steps below:
  1. Press the Windows key.
  2. Click settings.
  3. Select Apps and then select Apps & features.
  4. Search the list for Intel® Arc™ Control software and click it.
  5. Select Uninstall.
• Reinstall Intel® Arc™ Control. See How to Install Intel® Arc Control for instructions.
• Update the graphics driver to the latest version on Download Center. See How to Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 11.
• If the issue persists, update the graphics driver to the latest BETA version on Download Center. You can find the steps on how at How to Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 11.
• If the issue still persists, Run the DDU software How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver & reinstall intel Intel® Arc™ Control.

If the above steps don't resolve your issue, try a restoring your system to the last known month that the system was working as a workaround to the issue.

To perform a system restore, follow the Recovery options in Windows - Microsoft Support instructions, and choose the appropriate operating system on your device.
