Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) Keeps Prompting to Update Driver

Description

Intel® DSA keeps prompting for driver update even with updated driver.

Resolution

To troubleshoot issues with the Intel® Driver and Support Assistant, please follow the steps below: 

  1. Check the current driver version Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) is recommending to update.
    • To check the current installed driver, scroll down to Devices and Drivers and click the chevron on the components that need an update.
    • If the driver being recommended is the same version as the one currently installed, proceed to step 2.
  2. Go to Intel download center.
  3. Download and install the driver for your product model.
  4. Reboot system for the installation to take effect.
