  • Test a different TV/monitor and HDMI cable.
  • Update HDMI and TV firmware. For the firmware update, contact your laptop and TV manufacturer.
  • Test different display connections, such as VGA, DisplayPort or wireless display and adapters.
  • Check the port of the desktop/laptop if it's still functioning.
NoteYou can try to cold reboot the system to check if the port or the system is getting the correct power.

Check the display is enabled in the Intel® Graphics Command Center.

  1. From the Windows* Search bar, search for the Intel® Graphics Command Center. Double click the Intel® Graphics Command Center icon.
  2. Click Display.
  3. In the Connected Displays Window, click the three dot menu for the desired display.
  4. Click Enable.
NoteWe supply generic versions of graphics drivers for general purposes. Computer manufacturers might have changed the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the graphics driver software or software packaging. To avoid potential installation incompatibilities, we recommend that you check first with your computer manufacturer and use the driver software provided by them.

If the issue still persists, contact the laptop manufacturer to check the device for known hardware issues.
