Automated Dispensing Cabinet is a unit-based medication repository using computer-controlled storage, dispensation, tracking and documentation. This decentralized medication distribution system is suitable for managing high-risk medications and controlled substances near the point of care such as ICU, ward or quarantine area, or high-value consumables at operating room. With patient safety at our core, interfacing with EMR with medical order and pharmacy information system (PIS), and synced with personnel shift management system (nursing information system, NIS), our server can be safeguards of your pharmacists, nurses and administrators in inventory management, dispensing efficiency, medication order and safety, medication replenishment and patient care. Your optimized workflow will be like this: A caregiver taps with his/her RFID badge in conjunction with facial recognition to verify the identity; then by scanning the medical order, needed medications will be identified and then the light indicator will locate the drawer and unlock only the designated pillbox for collection. - Myriad means of caregiver identity verification: RFID, facial recognition, fingerprint or password- Customizable module design: choice of additional/fewer drawers, of 3 types of pillbox sizes - Two types of patient verification: patient number/barcode of medical order- Damaged packaging reporting and order cancellation mechanism- Means of notification of system failure: SMS, email, app, local screen- Customizable pillbox size combinations: up to 144 pillboxes inside ADC at the same time- Real-time inventory management (log checking and producing statistics report)
