8.5. Updating U-Boot to Support Different SSBL per Bitstream

When using Remote System Update on Agilex™ 3 and Agilex™ 5 devices, each configuration bitstream from QSPI contains the HPS FSBL (First Stage Bootloader), specifically U-Boot SPL. In order to allow the most flexibility and compatibility, you must design your system so that each bitstream loads its own copy of the HPS SSBL, specifically U-Boot image. Refer to the following device-specific page for details on how to accomplish this: Agilex™ 3 RSU: Using Separate SSBL Per Bitstream or Agilex™ 5 RSU: Using Separate SSBL Per Bitstream.
