4.2.3.1. Creating Initial Flash Image

This section shows you how to create the initial flash image with the Remote System Update feature enabled. This initial image contains at least the factory image and one application image. It typically contains at least one empty partition for storing an additional application image. The instructions in the following sections show figures that are specific for the Agilex™ 5 devices, but the same instructions apply for Agilex™ 3 devices also. If there are any relevant differences for Agilex™ 3 devices, those differences will be indicated in the instructions.
