8.3. Component Version Compatibility

The component versions used for creating this document, and listed in the Component Versions section are tested to be compatible.

Important: In order to get the functionality described in this document, you must use the component versions that are presented in the Component Versions. Using different versions of components than the ones described in this document may result in some functionality not being available or not behaving consistently. It is your responsibility to validate that the combination of components you plan to use meets your requirements.

RSU compatibility testing for Agilex™ 5 device starts in 25.1.1 because 25.1 is the first official release for this device. RSU compatibility testing for Agilex™ 3 devices starts in 25.3 release, because 25.1.1 is the first release in which RSU is supported for this device. As part of this testing the RSU HPS binaries built for a specific release are also tested with previous Quartus® Prime Pro Edition versions following the next plan:
