  • The GMII transmit converter converts the GMII (1000 Mbps)/MII (10/100 Mbps) datapath to 16 bit GMII data.
  • The GMII receive converter converts the 16 bit GMII data to GMII (1000 Mbps)/MII (10/100 Mbps).
