3.5.1.1. Using the EMIF Debug Toolkit with Agilex™ 7 M-Series HPS EMIF Interfaces

The External Memory Interface Debug Toolkit is not directly compatible with HPS EMIF interfaces.

To debug your HPS EMIF interface using the EMIF Debug Toolkit, you should create an identically parameterized, non-HPS version of your interface (fabric EMIF), and apply the toolkit to that interface. When you finish debugging this fabric EMIF interface, you can then apply any needed changes to your HPS EMIF interface, and continue your design development.
