2.2. Hardware and Software Requirements

Intel uses the following hardware and software to test the design example.

Hardware

  • Agilex™ 7 I-Series SoC FPGA Development Kit
  • HDMI 2.1 Source (Example: Quantum Data 980 48G Generator)
  • HDMI 2.1 Sink (Example: Quantum Data 980 48G Analyzer)
  • Bitec HDMI FMC 2.1 daughter card (Revision 9)
  • HDMI 2.1 Category 3 cables (tested with Belkin 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 Cable)

Software

  • Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software
  • Ashling RiscFree* integrated development environment (IDE) for Intel FPGAs
  • ModelSim* - Intel® FPGA Edition, ModelSim* - Intel® FPGA Starter Edition, Riviera-PRO* , VCS* (Verilog HDL only)/ VCS* MX, or Xcelium* * Parallel Simulator
