3.6.2. Initialize TX Path

Perform necessary initialization on the TX path.
  • Initialize I2C master.
  • Read the SCDC and EDID from the external HDMI sink to know the sink capability.
  • Write the Source version on the SCDC register on the external sink.

Refer to the Initialize TX Path Flowchart figure for more details.
