4.4.1. Setting Up the Hardware

The first stage of the demonstration is hardware setup.

To set up the hardware, follow these steps:

  1. Connect a supported DisplayPort FMC daughter card (Bitec or Parretto) to the Agilex™ 7 development kit at FMC port A.
  2. Connect the Agilex™ 7 development kit to your PC using a USB cable.
  3. Connect a DisplayPort cable from the DisplayPort RX connector on the DisplayPort FMC daughter card to an HDCP-enabled DisplayPort device, such as a graphic card with DisplayPort output.
  4. Connect another DisplayPort cable from the DisplayPort TX connector on the DisplayPort FMC daughter card to an HDCP-enabled DisplayPort device, such as a display monitor with DisplayPort input.
