Memory Metrics

Memory metrics help you understand how much memory is utilized by the target application.

The table below lists all Memory metrics that you can analyze with Intel® GPA.

Metric Name

Description

App Resident Memory

Represents the resident set size (RSS) of the target application. RSS is the portion of the application's memory that is currently held in RAM.

Available Memory

Represents the memory on the platform that is available for use by the target application. This includes cached memory and I/O buffers, which are made available by the kernel when needed.
