SINPI

Elemental Intrinsic Function (Generic): Produces the sine of an argument in half revolutions.

result = SINPI (x)

x

(Input) Must be of type real. It must be in half revolutions and is treated as modulo 2.

Results

The result type and kind are the same as x. The result value has a value of an approximation of the sine of x. SINPI (X) is approximately equal to SIN (X x π).

There are no specific names for this function.

Example

SINPI (1.0) has the approximate value of 0.0.
