ASINPI

Elemental Intrinsic Function (Generic): Produces the arcsine of x in half revolutions.

result = ASINPI (x)

x

(Input) Must be of type real, where x must be less than or equal to 1.

Results

The result type and kind are the same as x and are expressed in half revolutions.. The result value lies in the range -0.5 <= ASINPI (x) <= 0.5.

There are no specific names for this function.

Example

ASINPI (1.0) has the approximate value 0.5.
