Arun Gupta 
Vice President and General Manager, Open.Intel

Dedicated to growing the open ecosystem at Intel, Arun is a strategist, advocate, and practitioner who has spent two decades helping companies such as Apple* and Amazon* embrace open source principles. He is currently chairperson of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation Governing Board.

 

Jim St. Leger
Staff Architect

Jim is an expert in creating, launching, and growing open source software communities. He is also an avid motorcyclist and skier, a curious lifelong learner, and a disability inclusion advocate whose career has spanned the automotive, aerospace, and semiconductor industries.

 

Debbie Graham
Open Source Software Process Champion

A technical content expert, Debbie is currently managing the publication of a new set of open source software playbooks. At the same time, she is developing a communication channel dedicated to raising awareness and inspiring the adoption of the open ecosystem across Intel.

Deirdré Straughan
Director of Open Source Community and Evangelism

A 40-year industry veteran with deep technical expertise, Deirdré leads the team responsible for maximizing Intel’s impact in the open source ecosystem. Her work touches all the elements essential to open source culture, including web, community, events, technical marketing, and demos.

 

Shirley Bailes
Director, Open Source Events and Engagement

Shirley is an all-around open source advocate with a background in program management, event marketing, consulting, and DEI initiatives. She likes spreadsheets, budgets, and checklists. In her spare time, she enjoys long walks on the beach, ceramics, and cooking.

Sonia Goldsby
Open Source Event Specialist

Sonia brings over a decade of experience in event planning and open source program and project management to Intel. Her focus at Intel is leading marketing initiatives and driving cross-functional open source events. Sonia enjoys spending time with family and traveling.

 

Katherine Druckman
Open Source Evangelist

Co-host of the Reality 2.0 and FLOSS Weekly podcasts, Katherine is a long-time Drupal enthusiast, former digital director of Linux Journal, and a 15-year champion of the marvelous world of open source software.

 

Nicole Martinelli
Editorial Director, Open.Intel

Nicole is a journalist, active contributor to OpenStreetMap* and founder of Resiliency Maps, an open source toolkit that helps people navigate disasters and emergencies. Before joining Intel, she was the editor of Superuser, the OpenStack Foundation’s online publication. "Californitaliana."

 

Ezequiel Lanza
Open Source Evangelist

Passionate about helping people discover the exciting world of artificial intelligence, Ezequiel is a frequent AI conference presenter and the creator of use cases, tutorials, and guides that help developers adopt open source AI tools like TensorFlow* and Hugging Face*.

 

 

Chris Norman
Open Source Evangelist

An avid promoter of open source ecosystems, Chris writes documentation and presents at open source events, helping developers better understand Intel’s contributions to operating systems, languages, and runtimes. He also moderates the Clear Linux community forum.

 

Darlene Miller
Program Manager, Open Source Software

Darlene has more than 25 years of experience helping teams and individuals reach their goals. She believes open technology should be accessible to all and is committed to helping enable connections and learning across the ecosystem.

 

Jessica Marz 
Director of Open Source Program Office

An expert at explaining legal concepts to software developers and software development concepts to lawyers, Jessica is responsible for defining and managing Intel’s open source approval policies and practices. She’s also an avid arts-and-crafter known for her creative reuse of materials.

Tracey Erway
Information Architect & Storyteller

Recognizable for launching the Yocto Project* and as the YP advocacy lead for years, Tracey was also a founding member of the MinnowBoard* project bringing Intel® hardware to the open source arena. She's been working with the open source community enabling software since Linus was a one-man band.

Jeremiah Foster 
Open Source Technologist

Jeremiah is a carbon-based life form with a predilection for binary data. His interests include GNU and Linux as well as developing free software for the internet. He has been known to write technical documentation and lecture on Debian* and Perl*.

Tiberius Hefflin
Software Program Management

Tiberius is a dedicated cat butler extraordinaire who spends their days immersed in software licensing compliance while also heading the Intel Community Code of Conduct committee. Previous lives include HR and Infosec.

 

Chetan Prabhu 
Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer

A true developer hero, Chetan helps the Open Source Program Office work smarter, faster by automating licensing and compliance processes. He previously worked at Amazon as an open source software compliance engineer and KPMG* as an open source software auditing consultant.

Henrik Sandklef 
Senior Open Source Compliance Engineer

Free and open source license expert with over 20 years of experience in development, community and licensing. Computer scientist who fell in love with free software and has been working with FOSS ever since. Currently most active in flict (FOSS License Compatibility Tool). Handball enthusiast/addict.

 

Alexios Zavras
Senior Open Source Compliance Engineer

An open source and free software licensing expert, Alexios is an active participant in the TODO Group, Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX)*, and OpenChain*. He frequently speaks at industry and academic conferences, including the Open Source Leadership Summit, FOSDEM, and CopyleftConf.
