CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-9700K GPU: Intel® UHD Graphics 630 Driver tested: 30.0.101.1994 and 30.0.101.3109 (BETA) OS: Windows-10 in a KVM-Qemu virtual machine with an i915 virtualization GPU pass-through from a Ubuntu 22.04 Linux host.

Description

Unable to screen record using the Intel® Graphics Command Center. Attempting to do so results in zero-length files

Resolution
  • Make sure to have all permissions enabled (read, write and execute) to the directory that these recordings are going to save
  •  Uninstall the Intel® Graphics Command Center center:
    1. Press the Windows key and type Apps & Features
    2. Search for the Intel® Graphics Command Center on the list of apps installed on the system
    3. Select it and click uninstall app
    4. After these steps were done, perform a Clean Installation of Intel® Graphics Drivers in Windows*

In case none of these steps work, contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) / developer team of the virtualization tool used for further recommendations.
