Can Intel® Optane™ Memory products be used in SATA AHCI mode?

• Unable to determine if the Intel® Optane™ Memory M10 Series or Intel® Optane™ Memory H10 Series is compatible with SATA AHCI mode.
• Error message: AHCI not detected
• Error message: Feature not supported in AHCI mode

System acceleration with Intel® Optane™ memory products requires setting the SATA mode in BIOS to Intel® RST Premium and System Acceleration with Intel® Optane™ Memory Technology.

For BIOS settings and adjustments, it is always important to keep the following in mind:

• Changing the BIOS configuration (SATA mode) requires an OS reinstallation. Creating a backup is always recommended before any BIOS change.
• If Intel® Optane™-related settings cannot be found in the BIOS environment, check with the system/motherboard manufacturer (OEM) for system compatibility with Intel® Optane™ memory.
