What Components Does Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) Detect?

Graphic drivers
The application detects integrated and discrete Intel® Graphics Controllers for desktop and laptop computers. You can also manually identify your Intel® Graphics Controller.
For all other graphics controllers, contact your computer manufacturer or place of purchase for driver support.
Wireless networking
The application detects active Intel® Wireless Products.
It will detect discontinued products but may not offer updates for it. Contact your computer manufacturer or place of purchase for support.
Wired networking
The application detects certain add-in Intel® Ethernet Adapters and Intel® Desktop Boards with integrated network connections purchased through a retailer.
Intel sells wired networking cards to computer manufacturers who may customize the drivers. Some network drivers are supported only by the computer manufacturer.
Intel® NUC
You can use the application to update all drivers on certain Intel® NUC products. If you want to get the latest drivers for these products from another PC, you can use the Search Manually feature. Review this article for more supporting information regarding Intel® NUCs.
Intel® Rapid Storage Technology
The application detects updates for Intel® Rapid Storage Technology software.
Common Reasons why Intel® DSA isn't Finding your Hardware
If your hardware isn’t being detected or displayed, it may be for one of the following reasons:
- You have an older component.
- Your component is discontinued or isn't supported.
- You have a component not produced by Intel.
- The component isn't in our database.
