TA-1104: Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) Cannot Detect the Rear Hot-swap Dual Drive Cage
What am I seeing?
The BMC version 01.41.9579 cannot detect the rear hot-swap backplane (dual drive cage A2UREARHSDK).
What are the products that are affected?
R2224WTTYSR, R2312WTTYSR, R2312WTTYS, R2224WTTYS
Is there a workaround?
Customers who urgently need a workaround should contact an Intel representative for a customized package for this particular BMC release.
Why am I seeing it?
This issue is caused by a code change on the BMC firmware to prevent PSOC I2C 0xd4 collision with NVMe drives.
