Dr. Mariano Phielipp is currently employed at Intel AI Lab, which is situated within Intel Labs. His work encompasses research and development in deep learning, deep reinforcement learning, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Since joining Intel, Dr. Phielipp has made significant contributions in various domains, including computer vision, face recognition, face detection, object categorization, recommendation systems, online learning, automatic rule learning, natural language processing, knowledge representation, energy based algorithms, and other machine learning and AI-related endeavors.

Additionally, Dr. Phielipp has actively participated in disclosure committees, received an Intel division award in robotics, and holds a substantial number of granted and pending patents. His research findings have been published in conferences and workshops such as NeuriPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, IROS, ICRA, IEEE, SPIE, IASTED, and EUROGRAPHICS-IEEE.
