Important Notice

  • This ICPS Clean Uninstall Utility attempts to remove the Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite (ICPS) software from your system.
  • Ensure to restart the PC before and after running the utility, and then install the ICPS software again.

Overview

Use this utility if you encounter an uninstall error while upgrading or removing the ICPS software. The recovery utility is designed to help clean up ICPS components and restore a state suitable for reinstallation, but results may vary depending on the issue encountered.

Run the utility if ICPS UI displays the following error:

  • Failed Uninstallation - Uninstallation of old Intel(R) Connectivity Performance Suite versions was not successful. Intallation will be aborted.

How to Use

  1. Download the file to your PC.
  2. Restart the PC before running the utility to help terminate any active process. 
  3. Right-click on the file "ICPS_CleanUninstall_Utility.exe" and select Run as administrator
  4. Click Yes to accept the changes when prompted by User Account Control.
    *Important: After you select Run as administrator and c
    lick Yes, the cleanup process will start immediately. The utility will attempt to remove the ICPS software and related components from your system.

  5. Review the final result displayed in the command window.
  6. If the command window reports "Result: SUCCESS - ICPS uninstall completed", it is imprtant to restart your PC again before attempting to reinstall ICPS.
  7. If the utility completes but displays "Result: FAILED - Uninstall returned exit code xxxx", it will automatically collect diagnostic logs in an "ICPS_Uninstall_Logs_*" folder next to the utility. 
    For example, if the utility is stored in your Downloads folder, the logs will be saved to:
    C:\Users\[UserName]\Downloads\ICPS_Uninstall_Logs_2026xxxx_xxxxxx
    These logs can be shared with Intel Support to help investigate the issue.
