Important Notice
- This release and future versions support the new product Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE211.
- This is an incremental release from previous releases and, as such, will include all their changes. Please refer to previous release notes if needed.
- Linux* OS, software, and hardware not officially endorsed by your PC may affect performance and stability. We recommend consulting with your PC manufacturer or Linux* OS distributor to ensure compatibility and functionality with Intel wireless products.
Purpose
This release includes the Linux* driver package version Core98 for Intel® Wireless Products.

(Notes. The Intel wireless drivers are included in the upstream Linux* kernel. - For the Intel® Wi-Fi 7 products - Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE211, Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE202, Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE201 and Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE200:
- All Intel® Wi-Fi 7 products support the 6GHz band for Wi-Fi. Usage of the 6GHz band relies on operating system support, as stated in the previous bullet
- Wi-Fi 7 features depend on Kernel, Operation System support, and connected Access Point (router) – Wi-Fi 7 functionally may be limited.
