Detailed Description

Use the application for checking the status of the Intel UPID feature, getting and attesting the ID, and more. The application uses the Intel® Management Engine Interface to communicate with the Intel® Converged Security and Management Engine (Intel® CSME) locally from the host platform.

New in This Release

This Intel® Unique Platform ID (Intel® UPID) sample application is now compatible with Intel® CSME version 21.x, used on Intel® Panther Lake platforms.
  • Added support for Intel® Platform Brand Identity 2.0 features.
  • Improved handling of HECI communication buffer sizes.
  • Updated platform ID support for new PCH generations.
  • Minor bug fixes and code cleanup.
