Introduction
The Intel-Basic-IB.DISTRO. 11.7.0.x installation package (where DISTRO is the OS distribution) installs the Intel® Host Software components needed to setup compute, service, and login nodes on InfiniBand* networks.

Detailed Description
The IntelEth-Basic-IB.DISTRO.11.7.0.0.110.tgz and IntelEth-Basic-IB.DISTRO.11.7.0.1.1.tgz installation packages (where DISTRO is the OS distribution) installs the Intel® Host Software components needed to set up compute, Service, and login nodes on InfiniBand* networks.
The installation package includes the following components:
- Basic Tools
- PSM3
- kernel Module
- OFA Debug Info
Note:
A separate EFS installation package is available for each of the supported Linux* distributions. Refer to the release notes of the version being installed for a list of supported Linux* distributions.
