Introduction

The IntelEth-FS.[OS Distribution]-x86_64.11.3.0.0.130 installation package provides the Intel® Ethernet Host Software package along with the Intel® Ethernet Fabric Suite FastFabric toolset.

Detailed Description

The IntelEth-FS.DISTRO.11.3.0.0.130.tgz installation package (where DISTRO is the OS distribution) installs the Intel® Ethernet Host Software package along with the Intel® Ethernet Fabric Suite FastFabric toolset. The installation package includes the following components:

  • Intel® EFS Basic Tools (also in Basic package)
  • PSM3 (also in Basic package)
  • Eth Module (also in Basic package)
  • Eth RDMA (also in Basic package)
  • Open MPI (ofi, gcc) (also in Basic package)
  • MPI Source (also in Basic package)
  • Debug Info (also in Basic package)
  • Fast Fabric (only in Fabric Suite package. It includes Fast Fabric tool sets and MPI applications and benchmarks)

 

NOTE

A separate EFS installation package is available for each of the supported Linux* distributions. Refer to the release notes of the version being installed for a list of supported Linux* distributions.

Note

 

At time of release, the above versions are not compatible with Red Hat* Enterprise Linux* 8.6. However, the E810 series drivers that are part of the RH 8.6 distribution are compatible with Intel® Ethernet Fabric Suite 11.3

The IFS packaging consists of many individual RPM and SRPM components. Each component is provided with its own license file. The following is an example list (not a complete listing) of the various licenses:

  • GNU General Public License v2.0 (Kernel modules only, does not link to any other component)

In addition, a “Third-Party Copyright Notices and Licenses” document is included which provides copies

of all third-party licensing that may have been used in the development of the software contained in the

package. These are not outbound licenses for any item in this package and are provided for reference
