Change Notice, April 1, 2020:
NVM Downgrade Package 7.1 to 7.0 has been updated. If you previously had performed this 7.1 to 7.0 downgrade package, and you are re-running this downgrade package as a result of this Change Notice: While performing the downgrade, the displayed firmware version (visible in the NVM downgrade process display screen) will remain unchanged. The downgrade is working but the change won’t be visible from the displayed version number.
What was updated
A single NVM image file in 7.1 was updated to address a version display issue. A minor change occurred in the downgrade package configuration file to support this update.
Product affected
Only one product is affected: Intel® Ethernet Network Adapter XXV710-DA2, Product Code 870823.001, Part Number J65979-003 (or later -xxx)
Other information
If you use the affected product listed above, it is recommended that you update to the new NVM package file. However, if you do not use the affected product, then there is no need to update. All other files remain as is; there is no impact to other products.

These files are for Downgrade from NVM 7.1 to NVM 7.0 only.

While NVM upgrades and downgrades use the same tool set, the order of operations is reversed. The downgrade tool executes first, followed by installation of the matched drivers.
This download package supports the following downgrade path only:

Supported Downgrade Version: 7.0
SW/Driver Downgrade Version(s): 24.0, 24.1, 24.2
