Introduction

Provides firmware for 6Gbs full featured Intel RAID Controllers supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60. As of February 19, 2024, no functional, security, or other updates will be provided for the Intel® Integrated RAID Modules RMS25XXXXX, RS25XXXXX, RMTXXXXXX. Firmware for the Intel® Integrated RAID Modules RMS25XXXXX, RS25XXXXX, RMTXXXXXX will no longer be available after February 19, 2032. All versions are provided as is. Intel recommends that users of these Intel® Integrated RAID Modules products discontinue use as soon as possible.

Purpose
Installs firmware for the following 6Gbs full featured Intel® RAID Controllers supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60:

  • Intel® Integrated RAID Module RMS25CB080(N), RMS25CB040, RMS25PB080(N), RMS25PB040, RMT3CB080, RMT3PB080
  • Intel® RAID Controller RS25AB080, RS25DB080, RS25NB008, RS25SB008

Notes

  • Updating firmware with CmdTool2 will work on all Intel® RAID Controllers.
