2.6. Hardware and Software Requirements

Altera uses the following hardware and software to generate the test result as shown in this document:
  • Agilex™ 5 FPGA E-Series 065B Modular Development Kit
  • Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 25.1
  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS (Kernel: 5.15.0-131-generic for DMA PCIe Mode example design)
  • RiscFree* IDE for Altera FPGAs (for DMA SoC Mode example design)
  • Software driver generated along with the design example
