3. Changes in Software Behavior
- FPGA AI Suite Version 2025.3.1 is available only as Linux packages installable by Linux system package management tools. FPGA AI Suite Version 2025.3.1 is not available in the Quartus® Prime Version 25.3.1 installer or as a Docker* image.
- The dla_compiler command now depends on libpython.
For Ubuntu* users, if you do not have Python 3.12 installed, you will receive the following error message:
error while loading shared libraries: libpython3.12.so.1.0
For instructions to install Python 3.12, refer to the FPGA AI Suite Handbook . - Ubuntu 20.04 LTS standard support has ended. As a result, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS support in FPGA AI Suite Version 2025.3.1 is deprecated and support will be removed in a future version.
