7.3. Preparing for HAL Driver Development

This chapter assumes that you are familiar with C programming for the HAL.
Note: This chapter uses the variable <Intel Quartus Prime installation> to represent the location where the Quartus® Prime software is installed. On a Windows system, by default, that location is c:/<intelFPGA or intelFPGA_pro>/<version number>.
