A.9. BOOT_SCRATCH_COLD0, BOOT_SCRATCH_COLD1, BOOT_SCRATCH_COLD8, BOOT_SCRATCH_COLD9

Arm* Trusted Firmware (ATF) is configured as the SMC handler, and it allows these registers to be read, written, and updated by U-Boot and Linux.
