Error: No protocol specified

You might see the following error when running a GUI-based application from a Docker* container: 

No protocol specified
Error 65544: X11: Failed to open display :0
Terminate called after throwing an instance of ‘std::runtime_error’
  What(): Failed to initialize GLFW!
Aborted (core dumped)

Solution: Before launching the application, make sure you run the xhost command in the Docker container: 

xhost +
