Software Beamforming

For flexibility with choosing architectures and reducing the hardware cost, existing CUDA* code was migrated to SYCL* using the Intel® DPC++ Compatibility Tool. Intel GPUs and CPUs can be used altogether.

S-Shearwave Imaging*

Intel® VTune™ Profiler was used to optimize this feature. The profiler helped analyze and optimize hot spots and bottlenecks.

Sungshik Baik has been a principal engineer at Samsung Healthcare since 2013. He researches computer engineering for ultrasound medical imaging equipment and has been developing laptops for 17 years. He has master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California.
