oneAPI and SYCL* Essentials
This hands-on training session gives an overview of oneAPI and Data Parallel C++ (DPC++), and an introduction to Intel® Tiber™ Developer Cloud and Jupyter* Notebook. This session shows how you can:
- Solve the challenges of programming in a heterogeneous world
- Enable workflows with oneAPI solutions
- Experiment with oneAPI tools and libraries on the Intel Tiber Developer Cloud
- Use DPC++ and its programming model
Speakers
Ben Odom is a developer evangelist focused on highlighting training and showcasing Intel products and tools to developers worldwide. He works on AI and develops coursework on AI and SYCL for oneAPI, and Intel's developer ecosystem. He delivers the training to industry and academic developers interested in using Intel-optimized frameworks and libraries. Ben has been in the technical industry for over 20 years. He has a master’s degree in computer science and engineering from Oregon Health Sciences University.
Praveen Kundurthy is a developer evangelist at Intel with over 15 years of experience in software development and optimization on Intel platforms. He helps universities and developers learn and use oneAPI for projects. He has expertise in C++, C#, and Python*. Over the past few years at Intel, he has worked on topics spanning AI, storage technologies, gaming, virtual reality, and Android*. Praveen has a master's degree in computer engineering from Mississippi State University.
