Description
If you’re running your online transaction processing (OLTP) workloads in Google Cloud, you may wish to consider N2 VMs enabled by 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. On a MongoDB workload, these N2 VMs delivered more operations per second than three different types of VMs based on AMD EPYC processors: N2D VMs with 2nd Gen AMD EPYC processors, N2D VMs with 3rd Gen AMD EPYC processors, and T2D VMs with 3rd Gen AMD EPYC processors. With performance increases ranging from 1.12x to 1.83x, the N2 VMs with 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors consistently handled more operations per second, which can translate to a happier customer base, the ability to offer new services, and increased revenue.
