Why don’t I see critical warnings for ATX or fPLL spacing violations for my Cyclone® 10 GX FPGA device project when using the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v19.1 to v22.2?

Due to a bug in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software versions 19.1 to 22.2, you will not see a critical warning for ATX PLL or fPLL spacing if you violate the requirements documented in section 3.1.1. Transmit PLLs Spacing Guideline when using ATX PLLs and fPLLs of the Cyclone ® 10 GX Transceiver PHY User Guide.

It is mandatory to meet the ATX PLL-to-ATX PLL Spacing Guidelines and ATX PLL-to-fPLL Spacing Guidelines documented in the Cyclone® 10 GX Transceiver PHY User Guide.

This critical warning omission messaging was fixed in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3.
