Description This error can occur if the parameter force_hrc=1 is set in the Hard IP(HIP) for PCI Express® variant file. Typically this occurs if you are moving from a Gen 2 to Gen 3 variant and had to force the Gen 2 design to be an autonomous HIP or Configuration via Protocol(CvP) design. Gen 3 implementations only support the soft reset controller whereas the Gen 2 design can support the hard reset controller for autonomous HIP or CvP designs.
