Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 17.1 Update 1 and earlier, while using altmult_complex IP in VHDL you may see the following error messages in message window when you run Analysis & Synthesis.
Error (12077): Node instance "altera_mult_add_rtl2" instantiated with unknown parameter "ACCUM_SLOAD_PIPELINE_SCLR"
Error (12077): Node instance "altera_mult_add_rtl2" instantiated with unknown parameter "ADDNSUB_MULTIPLIER_PIPELINE_SCLR1"
Error (12077): Node instance "altera_mult_add_rtl2" instantiated with unknown parameter "ADDNSUB_MULTIPLIER_PIPELINE_SCLR3"

Error (12077): Node instance "altera_mult_add_rtl2" instantiated with unknown parameter "SIGNED_PIPELINE_SCLR_B"
