Why doesn't version 2.0 of the Power Delivery Network (PDN) Tool support a VCCIO setting of 3.3V for Arria V, Cyclone V or Stratix V devices?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

Due to a bug in version 2.0 of the Power Delivery Network (PDN) Tool a VCCIO setting of 3.3V is not supported for Arria® V, Cyclone® V or Stratix® V devices.

Resolution

To work around this problem you can select a VCCIO setting of 3.0V. Selecting 3.0V for VCCIO instead of 3.3V will result in a marginally lower Ztarget which is beneficial for PDN design.
