Description
To determine the recommended unused I/O pin configuration refer to the Quartus® II software default setting for "unused pins". Check Quartus II software -> assignments -> settings -> devices -> unused pins.
There is a drop down list with the available options for the selected device family. Confirm that the device wide option does not conflict with the board level connections.
You can refer to the Pin Connection Guidelines to review board level connection recommendations for specific pins when unused in your design.
