Can I pause Passive Serial configuration of Altera devices by holding DCLK high?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

Yes, you can pause Passive Serial (PS) configuration of Altera® devices by holding DCLK high. For example, device configuration may stop so that data can be loaded into a memory device. Holding DCLK high after configuration is complete will prevent device initialization unless CLKUSR is used for initialization.
