    Arria® V Hard IP for PCI Express Intel® FPGA IP
BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

This error message will be seen if attempting to open a v14.0.2 variation of the Arria® V, Cyclone® V, or Stratix® V PCI Express® Hard IP using the Parameter Editor.

The issue is due to the v14.0.2 variation not being recognized by the IP Catalog Editor.

Resolution

This problem can be worked around by editing the first line of the generated file to change from v14.0.2 to v14.0 description, for example, from:

VHDL variation

-- megafunction wizard: %Stratix V Hard IP for PCI Express v14.0.2%

to

-- megafunction wizard: %Stratix V Hard IP for PCI Express v14.0%

Verilog variation

// megafunction wizard: %Cyclone V Hard IP for PCI Express v14.0.2%

to

// megafunction wizard: %Cyclone V Hard IP for PCI Express v14.0%
